    Purpose of debate:
    1) Identify (& understand)
    2) Write
    3) Research
    4) Analiyze & Critique (critically dissect)
    5) Evaluate & Compare

    Create knowledge based on.

Technically, I should point out this is not a post, but it does kind of explain the notion of worldview:

These two worldview links are kinda cool:

There is a dynamic visualization of philosophy/authors/worldview:

I should add links to specific curriculum materials on logical fallacies.

    Debate terms:
    Argument terms:
    Philosophy terms.
    Critical thinking tools/terms.
    Data comparison.
    Writing & researching (????)

I want to focus on tools versus terms.

I dont know how to put this, I am a freshman at highschool and i have just started debating, my coach is not the best coach at explaining things and i have been to a few tournaments. But something really bothers me. Its the technical things like the words, how to answer a kritik, how to answer a disad, how to do many things and i just dont know and i was gonna ask if you can put up anything that could help me or other people out there that just starts from the basics. That talks about everything from case structure to things like theory and how to answer DA’s and how to propose a counter plan and the defintion of terms used like legitmacy and stuff. sometimes i find my self lost in rebuttals I just need help and i want to become a better debater please help me if you i can i would really appreciate sometimes

      I suggest:
      1) Cross-x.com
      2) Debate videos on Debate Vision or YouTube
      3) Debate camp videos (probably better for this question than #2 because you know what type of video it is specifically). This mega-list will be on YouTube
      4) Look at good frontlines (for 2AC) for each type of argument & model that.
