The beginnings of a nuance/distinction on capitalism

Slavery isn’t capitalism.  Capitalism is free trade, which honors the dignity of participants.  That is the basis of capitalism is human dignity.

 

Thats like saying freedom gives you the right to have slaves.  Thats absurd.  The whole principle of freedom is founded on justice and fairness and responsibility.  Freedom doesn’t exist in the abstract.

 

That same principle also serves as an ethical check on what exists as capitalism now.

This might work with a perm argument around these principles above.
