Speech Act Cooption Disad

This is kind of a silly argument of sorts. Its the idea that stealing out speech act….our art is stealing our identity.

First, we should be able to take credit for your speech act at least as much as you can take credit for ours–in the sense that we triggered your action.

Second, saying you did our act simply isn’t true. Saying your alternative is not doing your alternative.

Third, you’re functionally a copy-cat. Like those who take the work of great artists and claim it for their own–to fill their own bank accounts or in this case their attempt at debate wins & tournament bling.
