Poetry and Spoken Work in Policy Debate as Transformative, Performative, and Critical Tools

Popular Dissent, Human Agency and Global Politics (Cambridge Studies in International Relations)

Its expensive new ($65 or so)…but pretty cheap used at around 6 bucks for the book on Amazon and probably about 4 bucks for shipping & handling.

You should be able to find it in most performance files. I know he also has an article or two in Alternatives magazine. Don’t know how much that Alternatives article has.

Heideggers “The Nature of Language” apparently has some discussion of poetry.

Plus, you can win that the poetry debate is a draw…..and still K their disads (threat construction or some K of reps).

Even if you don’t end up running the Heidegger cards…its an interesting way to approach the topic.
