Random thoughts about debate strategy: 80/20 Debate preparation

What are there best strategies/options/arguments?
Where are they most limited?
How does this relate to (the range of) other possible arguments & impacts? (DA, Case arg, CP, etc..)
How does this relate to our other arguments?
Can I leverage my impacts as answers to counterplans & critiques?
Can I be reading add-on advantages?

Three quickest:
1) underline, organize, & frontline (its takes super-less time each time)
2) impact comparison [these debates shake out very similarly on aft & neg]
3) interactivity (part of impact comparison). big picture.

Drawing out the causal chain:
• Perception DA
• Terror DA

Intelligence Hacks:
1. Multi-use arguments (counterplan that links to a number of cases OR a case you will hear a bunch–ie top 3)
2. Arguments I can easily own.

Two rules:
1. Do intel.
2. Be prepared.
3. Begin with the end in mind. (a bit misleading, but helpful). Backwards mapping or just getting to the next level.
4. Have fun. Challenge yourself.

Money ball strategies from the 3nr (when it goes up again)

Also a number of the articles linked to under the top headings relate to this topic in one way or another.
