When is the date relevant to debate evidence

Dates are more relevant in debate:
1) Often in uniqueness debates
2) When there is an impact to the date (aka “x has changed” or “your evidence doesn’t assume this key event”) the classic example of this is terrorism impact evidence before 9/11. (alternatively, the warrants can still be functionally true)

Often post date claims are made that are merely our evidence is newer without any impact (in this case it could be that both pieces of evidence are correct).

Evidence date is far less relevant:
1) critique and ethics evidence
2) topicality evidence

this is not a hard and fast rule….but generally true.
